DIY SOS, a charity based in the heart of Ayrshire, called on the new center to transform.

Volunteers from Wetlets Weeks in the Community are arming themselves with a dilapidated shed in dire need of repair.

The charity arm of non-league football club Witlets Victoria is putting together a three-phase plan to transform its new home.

Last week we reported that a group of 11 volunteers took on the challenge of cycling, walking or running 100 miles in 60 days to raise new funds for the project.

The charity is now asking local businesses or skilled workers to donate their services, goods or money to give the tent a new lease of life.

The three phases of the project include a new roof, modern dressing rooms for players, referees and physios and the transformation of the arena into a community centre.

Desires include a new kitchen, appliances, building materials, people with construction skills.

Vics In The Community Trustee Ed Hanna, volunteer football coach and team manager, said: "To move forward and achieve our ambitions, we are asking for help from local residents and businesses to deliver our plans within a reasonable timeframe. 'Box'. The word.

“We know these are difficult times for many and we are asking local residents and Ayrshire businesses to work with us to create something of real value for the community.

“You can do this by buying advertising posters around the park or by donating kitchens, tools, building materials and building skills to help us restore the pavilion to its full potential.

"We can't invite Nick Knowles and the entire DIY SOS team to join you, but we guarantee that every penny or man-hour you donate to local businesses will improve the lives of the local community and benefit them in the long run."

Club Vika was founded in 2018 and has a successful history of promoting football in the community, with over 250 children participating in weekly training and school holidays.

The charity has attempted to distribute over 15,000 meals to local residents in need and has provided mental health support programs for many individuals and families.

Ed Hanna added: “We offer a comprehensive and ongoing community support programme, offering group and individual support, current cost crisis assistance and targeted services.

"These services are currently outside the home, but we plan to integrate them into our football programs.
