Time to go. Moody's predicts home prices across the country will fall 18.6% to 26%, interest rates are high and there are no competitors to buy. In a sluggish market, buying a new home is relatively easy, and I found it. I'm moving to Oregon.

I don't know how much it costs, but this will be the sixth house purchase in my life. The first is a halfway house for living in Santa Cruz County, but the second is the only one that's perfect. We sold the mansion to buy a cabin near Soquel Creek. It is the home and garden that has inspired many to write poetry, brought flocks of songbirds, and provided refuge from a troubled world. This is the jewel of the house and some find it strange to leave it.

The truth is that when you start looking for a home, it won't have everything you need. New homes are potential. Sokel's house was pretty boring when it was sold; a beige house with no garden, too little light inside, and pink toilets. We were greeted by an open space in the backyard, a river and tall trees. We dared 18 years ago.

Over time, the house has been transformed into a charming retreat. We are reviving plant life, mainly restoring forests on the banks of rivers. I installed bamboo floors, remodeled the kitchen, updated the windows, installed skytubes, painted the house bright yellow and designed a custom terrace. It even transforms to add fresh color to a gray bedroom. This is a potential issue.

So said his three grandchildren. The rule is that if they go to college and get an education, one day they can become the guardians of this house. Everyone claims to be going to college and getting their first prize! It was the first house of emotional restraint in his childhood. The presence of certain objects also reminds of the stages of his life. If the hut by the river was lost, they mourned its loss. It would definitely be the end of an era.

Who tends the garden while you are away? This is his biggest concern. They see plants as children who cannot feed themselves. To reassure them: "The plants will take care of themselves." At least I grow such a plant, a native plant that grows wild in North America. You can manage yourself.

When I leave this sunny home, I will miss the smiling and welcoming bricks at the front door. The secret place under the lemon tree will be far away. The river banks we made with our own hands will wonder where we're going. The stretched bridge has seen so many celebrations that it still doesn't serve his family. This kitchen serves some of the best food. Will be missed so much that it probably shouldn't be sold to anyone or at all.

Why did I move? Because the next generation must live in a safe home. After much deliberation, we decided to take our grandchildren and move to another place. Give them shelter in their last and most difficult childhood. Our roles have changed, like the wise men who dragged our grandparents to the top of the mountain. Do not contact us until you solve the absolute mysteries and mysteries of life! Understanding! We give them the tools.

In the meantime, I found a greenhouse without a garden. It was large and secluded, overlooking the hills, next to the Umpqua River. No flowers or trees were lost, except for a third of an acre of pure slate. It lit a fire in my heart. This is a potential issue. If we imagined a terraced garden with flowering trees and perennials, stairs, stone walls, mangers and mounds, it makes sense to watch the sunset from an elevated terrace. Let's just say it's okay.

As the escrow closes at the end of the month, my California home will also be closed. On the occasion of my one year anniversary as a news writer, I am also ending this great opportunity to focus on my move. I hope that as you work with your home and garden, you will continue to learn about the influence and connection you have with all living beings. I enjoy serving the community that follows my work and offers support or encouragement. It was an unexpected reaction from the general public that I will not soon forget. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.
