In an email Monday to reward customers, Olive Garden teased the return of its Never Ending Pasta Bowl promotion.
The message included a noodle-colored loop and the words "billing in progress" on the restaurant's website, showing the bill for Monday, Oct. 3.
There's no other official word on the site, but posts on the chain's social media platforms point to Olive Garden's TikTok page, which posted a video of legato, spaghetti and meatballs and chicken fettuccini Alfredo on Monday. It's coming."
When a user on Twitter asked if the ad was about the return of the "endless" macaroons, Olive Garden replied, "Only way to find out...psst, check out TikTok."
A representative for the national broadcaster did not immediately respond to Nexstar's request for comment.
The longtime fan favorite has not been served since 2019, and several restaurant industry reports suggest the chain will close following the Covid-19 pandemic.
In a successful call in 2021, the chef at Darden Restaurants, which owns Olive Garden, said he wasn't sure he would one day return to other fast-food chains like Longhorn Steak and Cheddar's.
"We don't know if we're going to get the infinite pasta bowl back because we have an infinite number of starters every day," says Ricardo Cárdenas, the restaurant's CEO. Endless soup, salad and grisini.
The Olive Garden promotion was first sold in 2011.
Other restaurant chains, like Red Lobster's Endless Shrimp Deal, are now slowly rolling out similar promotions across the country.
