SEAL BEACH, CA – Garden lovers rejoice – Tickets to the Rossmoor Women's Club's 19th Annual Spring Tour go on sale Sunday, May 21.

The fundraiser will feature six Rossmoor homes whose owners have created their own dreamscapes.

"For the avid gardener there is a home surrounded by lush jasmine, roses and geraniums," Rossmoor fraternity member and public relations officer Mary Susan Danley told Patch. "In another, real lavender, roses and wildflowers mix with artificial flowers to create a lush English country setting."

The tour also includes an aquatic Mediterranean landscape with granite-paved pathways, underground succulents, native herbs, cut flowers, vegetables, and herbs in a drip tray garden.

Residents participating in the annual Spring Garden Tour can also enjoy the Arbor Village Outdoor Market with snacks, basket raffles, and music performed by harpist Julio Montero.

Tickets with addresses and a map of all houses can be purchased for $20 per person. All proceeds go toward funding scholarships for Los Alamitos High School students and donations to local charities, Danley said.

Residents can purchase tickets from the Rossmoor Woman's Club website or from one of the following local shops:

  • Britt's Old Town Gardens, 225 Main Street A
  • Cinnamon Stick, 10641 Los Alamitos Blvd.
  • Here are the flowers, 5238 Lampson Avenue.
  • McNally Electric, 10792 Los Alamitos Blvd.
  • Prep Kitchen Essentials, 12207 Seal Beach Blvd.

Residents can also purchase tickets on the day of the visit at the Arbor Village Open Market at Flags with a Flair, 10651 Los Alamitos Blvd. from 10:00 a.m
