Playing notes: The Pistons rallied from a 19-0 first-quarter rebound in Orlando to open the season 113-109 at home Wednesday. Bojan Bogdanovic hit six 3-pointers for 24 points in his first game with the Pistons, Kid Cunningham had 18 points and 10 assists, and rookies Jaden Ivey (19 points) and Jalen Durin (double-double) were standouts . . The beginnings of the NBA. ... Now they visit New York, where the Knicks are looking to rebound from a 115-112 overtime loss at Memphis, where they won by double digits. Julius Randle scored 24 points for the Knicks and Cam Reddish had 22 points off the bench. Galen Bronson had 15 points and 9 assists in his Knicks debut, but RJ Barrett — who just signed a $100 million contract and a rookie extension — scored 11 of his 18 3-pointers. … Marvin Bagley III, Isaiah Levers and Alec Burks all pitched for the Pistons in this game. ...it's the first half of a straight game for the Pistons; Saturday night will be a visit to Indiana.
