HOLLIS GARDEN COMMUNITY PLANT Swap 2022: 9-10:30 September 17, doors open at 8:30. - The first round of bargaining begins at 9:00 am, Hollis Garden, 702 E. Orange St., Lakeland. Organized by Lakeland Plant Swappers. Plants and garden supplies are placed in a designated area from 08:30 to 09:00. Depending on the time of arrival, the participants are divided into groups and each group will be notified and given a certain time to explore the available plants. What to bring for the exchange: Garden-related items such as plants, seeds, tools, and/or books. Name these plants and seeds. Do not bring chemicals or invasive plants. Types of plants for sale: orchids, bromeliads, tropicals, aroids, herbs, flowering trees, native plants, succulents, butterfly and hummingbird attractors, herbs, fruit trees. Some vendors on site will have a limited supply of plants for sale.

DIAMOND JUBILEE ORCHID SHOW AND SALE: 10:00-16:00 Sept. 17 & 18, WH Stuart Center, UF/IFAS Extension Office, 1702 US 17 S., Bartow. 5 dollars. Presented by the Ridge Orchid Society.
